10 weeks is what I prefer, but anytime between 2 and 6 months is feasible

Sorry to reply so late Max haven't even checked this post since I wrote it , but just went to the vet the other day and my dog was 26 pounds. I've been feeding him raw meat (chicken thighs, salmon, chicken livers, beef heart, beef muscle, and beef liver) He loves salmon the most though he tears it up whole. I also supplement him with nupro joint support and probiotics. About his ears I told the vet I wanted a two inch cut , I got that measurement from Lee and I like it with the longer muzzle it seems to square his head off pretty well. Hows your pups doing as far as wieght , temperment, and what are you feeding them?

You're right David...For future reference try Red Gel or Biozide Gel. It makes the healing process so much quicker and therefore way better on the dog. I mean you will be amazed have fast you'll be getting those sutures out.

What's up Darron it's cool. I've been kinda busy myself. My boy Zion was 20 lbs last time and my female Sheeba was 15. Both have two different builds. I think that might be my boy by mistake in your photobucket, top left that's a lil bit more orange, not sure? My male looks more like AXSHUN, but my female is all black and going to be a tall girl. It seems lke she's growing straight up and the male's getting thicker by the day. Those weights were ther first time I weighed them. I'll try and get an update this weekend. I'm feeding them Blue Buffalo Wilderness, not a lot of dog food at a time, but I make a mixture of of rice, chopped boiled chicken (I might need to try it raw?), raw whole eggs, cottage cheese, and a few vegetables. I make it by the week for them. Not expensive at all, really pretty cheap...Sheeba is super high energy and very smart and agile. The boy is very feisty and acts like he's the king of the jungle or something, he`already like to do bitework and already showing signs of great prey and defense drive potential. He's already barking at the door and checking people out when they come in LOL. I'd love to work something out with you on the treadmill, but to tell you the truth we would have problems getting it way up there, but if you're still interested let me know I'll call you. I'm really really thinking about that raw meat for the puppies never tried it except with mackarel???

Red gel is what I used on Kronos' ears your right it's crazy how fast the cuts close and heal. I've even tried it on a few of my own cuts.

Just looked at the blue wilderness food looks pretty good.About the raw food it's pretty cheap also I pay 99 cents a pound for chicken thighs at the butcher and whole chickens are 89 cents a pound thats what I'm gonna get next I have to wait because I already stocked my deep freezer up with the chicken thighs. When there gone I'll get the whole chickens and cut em up and feed that. Zion is a cool name I might have to steal it from you for my next dog. Right now Axshun doesn't bark at the door or nothing he just seems really unimpressed by people other than the people who live in my house not sure what that means yet but time will tell. About the treadmill I would love to get it but your right shipping that thing would be a pain. I'm gonna go up to Cape Cod and get one custom built by the Colby family they still make them, they' ve been making treadmills and breeding pitbulls since the 1900's there like 4 generations deep should be cool to sit there and talk dog with that family.Luckily for me It's only about an hour away.

Oh yeah Darron, I'm sure that you will benefit alot from getting to spend time with the Colby family and getting a treadmill custom made. I've heard excellent things about some of their dogs and even came across a few. That's an awesome oppurtunity to be able to talk "dogs" to a family of four generations deep in breeding and training. Lucky you, congrats....feel free to share any tips haha... I'm a sponge for dog knowledge man sorry.
