Hi everyone, Two days ago i came across this malinois kennel[www.stealth-paws.com] and i was impressed with their level of training, however when i saw their puppies in training i was quite surprised. They had 6-7 week old puppies chasing a suited decoy through fire, with a lot of objects thrown at them. Although all their puppies seemed to enjoy the training i was wondering if this is a good way to train/test puppies.

I would say it is pretty impressive as well. Certainly working genetics plays a huge factor, but I also think a LOT of it has to do with the amount of time put in with the dogs to expose them to "drive building" situations. A lot of that IMO is conditioning. Very nice facility and dedication no doubt.
