My name is Tom and I live in Minnesota. I am married with 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl. There ages range from 3 thru 12. I also have a lot of nieces and nephews, with similar age ranges. As I am sure you can guess we have a house full of kids and family quite often. I work long, odd hours and the most important thing to me is the safety of my family.
Before I was married with kids, I raised and trained rottweilers. I bred and trained pitbulls (gamedogs). Some people may not agree with my next statement but I would never trust a rottweiler with my wife or kids. Pitbulls are better for the family but they are so high maintenance because of there high dog aggression. Again for me personally to many risks and problems with these dogs. Lets face it but most of the time the best rottweiler is not going to be a good family dog and the best gamedog most of the time will not be the best guard dog, (yes I know they were not bred for this).
We have not had a dog for long time, certainly not a house dog, or family pet.
Recently I did obtain a dog from Lee out of Linebaugh X Lynn, right now he is about 6 months old, he is a black brindle male. This pup fit into our busy family life effortlessy and without disruption. My 3 year old son is constanly grabbing and hanging on this pup. He also hugs and kisses him. My youngest son named him "Bacon" The pup is home with my wife and kids all day long while I am at work. We have had no problems at all. He is very smart and trusting. He is submissive to us but already will sound off hard when a stranger approaches. Our dog is perfect and flawless, both mentally and physically!
I originally wanted a female. I told Lee my story and gave him my family history and said he had a perfect male pup for me that he felt was "perfect" Like I said I wanted a female but I decided to trust Lee and I am glad I did because this pup is everything he said and much, much more! Lee took him inside his house before I got him and he started crate training him and socializing him. When I got him he was already crate trained and he took to house breaking very easy. Easier then any dog I ever had.
I will post some pics soon. I just wanted people to know that at my house I have the perfect family guardian/companion. When this dog comes of age I will be training him hard out here in PP, already he is showing very, very promising signs. He is the best dog I ever had and Lee is a honest man, and that is very hard to come by in the dog world! He truely is my familys dog and my eyes for them when I am not home. 2 words to describe this dog; TRUSTWORTHY and STABLE!
