At 7 1/2 months, her temperament is developing well. Her prey drive is higher and higher, trying to hunt anything she sees. To my surprise, she also starts acting very aggressive when she sees coyotes. She LOVES dogs, but last time we saw a coyote she wanted to eat it. I guess she already understands the difference. She is suspicious of strangers, especially at night, and will bark and growl to alert. She loves to play fight with me, and will "bite" at my body everywhere possible arm, leg, stomach, hands, neck, doesn't matter she just loves to bite. I hope this will later transfer well when testing her on a suit and that she'll take the pressure well. At her age, what can I do to introduce to a little bit of pressure, without messing up in the process?

I really like your girl Nico, she looks and sounds like she is really working out for you, and that is all anyone can ask. I am just curious though, if you don't mind me asking, how did you come to hear of her breeders?

Thanks man. I actually always found interesting the breeds that boar hunter cross to create their idea of the "perfect" hunting dog/ working dog. She was my "plan B" so to speak, since one never knows how your original plans will work out. So for a while, I had been visiting a website that is all about hunting boar, bears, cougars, coons, etc... My girl came from a hunter in Illinois that is 95% hunter and 5% breeder...lol What I mean by that, is that he breeds his male and female only when he needs more dogs, since many get killed while hunting. As a matter of fact, my girl's mom was killed by a boar 3 months ago. Anyway, when I saw the various breeds this hunter used, I thought it would work well for my needs. As you know, I was always looking for an athletic dog, with lighter bones, but still strong, lean and not dog aggressive. At her age when she plays with dogs her size but 2 -3 years older than her, she can already out run most of them :D. She is still way to young to know how she'll turn out, but she is developing well mentally and physically. Anyway, enough about my girl, how are you doing?

I am doing well, and thanks for asking. Still waiting for the "right time" to acquire a working dog like you have there, but would rather be patient and "wait" than rush and regret the decision at a later time. Currently, I do not have a "plan B" myself, but at some point may have to look into that. Life is an adventure that is for sure, anyways glad you and yours are doing well.
