She had six very healthy pups. They are all doing well. Three males and three females. We will be keeping two ourselves and an additional one may go to my friend David (who has been handling Achilles). As a result, we only have 3 that will be available from this breeding.

There are 2 that are definately black brindle. One that appears to be all black at this time, but will probably turn into a black brindle once it ages a bit...and then there are 3 blues. Two of the blues I suspect will be brindle, but one looks like it may be a solid blue. David (who has studied color more than I have) informs me they should all be brindle...be it blue brindle or black brindle...but I myself am not so sure. I have seen some solid blacks when they weren't expected unless recessive black was in the gene pool...so I believe recessive black is in there. In the end though, I don't worry about it at all. The dogs will be whatever they will be since I don't breed for color. If they are brindle cool (as I do like brindle), if they are solid...that is fine too though as I like both blues and blacks as well. More important to me is will they work well. With parents like Achilles and Lynn though, I am VERY CONFIDENT they will be awesome.

Congrats!! Keaton you getting a pup outta this one? Lee you think these pups will have a higher defensive drive being they are half achillies...... Did they come out big? I guess it would be to early to tell... i am interested in seeing how the phenotype is too being they are half neo..... these will be nice!!

You know they are MORE than half Neapolitan. Lynn is 25% Neapolitan herself coming down from Levi...so these pups would be 62.5% Neapolitan...12.5% Tosa...and 25% APBT. I do expect the males to be well over 100#, but only time will tell.

I bet those pups have some big noggins. Just from watching lynn and achilles working I believe that the puppies could have come out pink and they would be great dogs lol.

Although they are only 7 months old now, Rhino is getting huge. He is probably close to 90# already. Blue Jean is probably about the same as my normal females for her age...maybe in fact even a bit smaller. She is probably closer to 60# I suppose. Not small for 7 months, but not big either. I figure Rhino will likely be about 115-120# full grown, but only time will tell. I try to keep them lean.

As far as drives go, both are exceptional...but honestly Lynn tends to produce pretty solid dogs no matter who she is bred to. I will get some photo updates some time soon. Maybe during Easter break. If not, during the summer for sure.

Not recently. They stayed in contact for about a month, but no news recently. Last I heard, everything was great.
