There has been a lot of discussion as to the protective reputation of both Neapolitans and Filas, but I haven't been able to find any good videos of either breed other than Achilles. Here are a few videos I saw on youtube with some Filas. I am not impressed at all.

The first one is an example of a bad decoy and an owner that has no control of the dog, either voice or physical. The second one shows so many different Fila, can you be more specific about what you don't like?

There is certainly a lot of less than desireable material in both of those videos. I can't believe I actually watched both the videos from start to finish.
In the 2nd video, the decoy work was pathetic from start to finish. What kind of decoy holds a sleeve straight out for a dog to bite the end? An amature is the only answer. From 30-45 seconds, the dogs there was showing signs of having confidence issues, which is clear by the severely tucked tail for one. There was other dogs in that video that were in clear avoidance, but the dog at 1:10 mark seemed ok...and the one at 1:50 was ok too...but as far as I know those two may actually be the same dog. However, my honest opinion is this is clearly a case of amature hour and an accident waiting to happen given the pathetic decoy work that is for certain. All that said, any program can have a disapointing dog, but if this is what these programs are advertising I would hate to see their disapointments. Speaking of accidents waiting to happen, a friend recently sent me this video. I wouldn't want this type of dog either. LOL...although drivey for sure and confident, these dogs apparently will bite the hands that feed them. Go figure...
