Luci was a very drivey and very muscular bitch. Luci's sire, Bonacorsi's Porky, holds the IWPA world record in weight pulling on artificial snow and her mother, Bonacorsi's Rosie, was also a well proven in weight pulling. Although Luci was from weight pulling stock, she did very well in PP training. Chimera's Bullette was a product of a breeding betweeen Levi and Luci.

Sorrells' Captain Skip was one of our foundation dogs and is VERY WELL bred dog...a true old school, family bred APBT straight from the yard of legendary dog man Bert Sorrells. This dog is a phenomenial athlete, has endless courage, and excellent drives. He is the sire to Chimera's Preacher-Man, Chimera's Bandit, Chimera's Pac-Man, Chimera's Hurricane (aka "Cain"), Chimera's Chief, and Chimera's Phoenix. Click on his name to see his full pedigree.

Grit, another of our earlier foundation dogs, was a near perfect example of a working class APBT. As far as working class APBT go, he was one of the best I have seen for PP and family companion guardian work. He was composed of a mixture of game bred lines and weight pull lines. He is the sire to Tora, Tara, Tony, and Splash...and the grandsire to many great dogs, including Chimera's Lynn, Chimera's Draco, and Chimera's Damon. Chimera's Tora is a 1st generation female Swinford that we produced from Grit (APBT) and Asia (Tosa-Inu). Tora's full brothers and sisters include Tara, Storm, Tony, Splash and a few others. She is the mother of one of our favorite young prospects (sired by Levi), Chimera's Damon, that is co-owned and cared for by close friends of mine, Daniel and Angie. She was sold a few years ago and is currently working as a security dog for a multimillion dollar business securing over 3 acres of property. Click on her name for more details.

Chimera's Tara (with an "a") is a littermate to Tora (with an "o"). What is said for Tora can also be said for Tara (as well as their other littermates), as the litters from Grit and Asia were very consistent. Tara was purchased by Dustin Pearson, but trained here at Chimera Kennels. We were very impressed with Tara's defense and prey drives as well as her natural athleticism that Dustin and I decided to breed her to Levi, which produced Chimera's Lynn. Chimera's Splash was very prey driven, but like Tara and Tora, Splash also displayed excellent natural defense drives too. Splash was an excellent natural PP and family companion guardian type of dog. Splash earned his name because of his desire to work in the water. Splash was sold some time ago, but before he was sold he was once bred to Bullette, producing Chimera's Draco. Chimera's Eclipse (EM) is the finest working class EM I have ever met. Despite her size, she would work for very long periods of time and even do so in hot weather, which is very unusual for an EM. She was very effectionate and loyal to friends and family, but was also a great PP dog. She is the mother of Chimera's Preacher-Man and Chimera's Bandit.

Land's Caesar is a phenomenial EM that we found many years ago. We ended up purchasing him and kept him for some time. Eventually Caesar was sold with "co-ownership" to my friends Johnny and Mary Courville of Loyal Guard Kennels. Johnny and Mary have been doing a great job keeping Caesar.

Asia, a Tosa-Inu, was one of our early foundation dogs. She had great defense drives and very good prey drive too. She was very loyal and a natural guardian. Asia was the mother to Splash, Tora, Tara, and Tony...and the grandmother to many great dogs, including Chimera's Lynn, Chimera's Draco, and Chimera's Damon.
