Chimera Kennels

Chimera's Tora was sold at 3-4 years of age and is on duty guarding a multimillion-dollar business that covers over 3 acres of property. The business she was sold to came to us after unsuccessful trying to deal with a growing problem of theft...as they were having inventory stolen 2 to 3 times per week after hours...and previous "guard dogs" were proving to be unsuccessful at stopping such crimes. I am VERY PLEASED to report that after having Tora in their possession, this business has not been burglarized even once to date!!!!! This is what having a protection dog is all about...stopping crime! She is alert, active, prevents intruders, and is a great guardian of her domain. Meanwhile, Tora also has kept her loving and loyal family guardian type temperament.

In chasing titles and playing games with the dogs, some people forget what a protection dog really is for. (I would even say a lot of people seem to forget). This is indeed what protection K9s are about. Independence...the ability to protect our lives and our property from crime...to protect our rights to freedom and our pursuit of happiness. I am very pleased that Chimera's Tora was able to deliver when many other "protection dogs" failed. The owner had spent thousands on other "trained protection/security dogs" that were little more than a tug-a-war type of sport dog familiar with "bitework" routines and playing "protection" games...all with decoys that played by the training "rules" of such games/sports...yet those dogs proved unworthy in real situations. On the street, there are no rules. Many will kill a dog if they can. When the dog experiences a criminal that isn't playing, it is important to know a protection or guard dog will still be able to do its job. Chimera's Tora has proven her ability to do her job very well in the real world.

Chimera's Tora was produced from our dogs Grit and Asia. She is a full-sibling to Chimera's Tara, Chimera's Tony, and Chimera's Splash. She is much a natural personal protection dog, an effectionate and loyal companion/family guardian, and an active estate guardian.
