Note: Although all the videos on this page are of my own dogs (or dogs off my breedings), some of them are protection dogs and some are not. Most of the videos of the dogs above show what is needed in a family companion guardian. They show the willingness to sustain the pressures an attacker may present; however, the videos below may or may not be protection dogs. For example, Grit will serve very well as a protection dog and work confidently in defense and fight drives, but the videos below do not show this. The videos below are one deminsional videos and only illustrate prey drive...and they are simply demonstrations of what prey drive alone is about in order to enlighten people of the difference between a protection dog (as seen above) and a dog working exclusively in prey drive (as seen below).  Do not be duped into believing a one deminsional prey drive only dog is a PP dog, because it is not. They are easily fooled into biting alternate objects or even the people around them. Although some of the videos below show some entertaining clips, you should also notice prey drive alone doesn't necessarily require a dog to sustain any form of pressure from the decoy. This is an important consideration when looking for a true PP candidate or a family protection guardian. The purpose of these videos are for educational and entertainment purposes only.
